In tarot, Aquarius is represented by the Major card The Fool, showing a man at the edge of a cliff, free and ready to start on a new path. We are entering into a new phase in of our life. This season we will be beginning a new and having faith that we have all needed to go on our journey, Trust the process and go with the flow of things. Sometimes we need change by being spontaneous. Let go and be free, be open and release any expectations you may have to others or yourself. Having fear moving forward will not be beneficial to our futures. The dog standing next to the man in The Fool tarot picture represents protection and loyalty. Be loyal to yourself and the path ahead. In his knapsack, he has little possessions, what is in the bag? We do not know. What we do know is we have all that is needed to go forward. So let us rejoice in this season of opportunity to start fresh and remove anything that may be holding us back. Get ready… Leap forward with optimism and faith for the road is open and all that we may need and want will be available when required.

In astrology, the zodiac Aquarius is detrimental in the sun’s position. Detrimental could be described as being in the house of your enemy. Not to say this season will be painful but it could be shaky. Especially because it is helping to release the things that may be weighing you down. With Aquarius belonging to the planet Uranus, we are due for some abrupt changes. These changes could occur with friends or even organizations, So use this time for preparation of changes instead of fighting against the wave. Be like water and flow like the water “in the” bearer. His winds will be forcing the currents. Aquarius does not do well in the Sun’s position. So expect some oppositional energies. Those born under this sun sign should understand this. They may fight constantly to be the rebel and Aquarius persons stick out in a room. This sign shuns away from the brightness of the light as if it is sun burnt. During this season the sun may shine in places that may not feel good but these drastic changes will lead us to heal in the seasons to come. We must detach from the hurt and emotions of the situation and be more objective to get the job done.

This season we will see abrupt changes in our stock market. I like to keep the seasonal blogs on more inner spiritual predictions versus the physical but we will definitely see some things going on in this part. If you are into the stock market you may want to take a leap of faith in this avenue.

The 11th house in Astrology is about your friendships. Your relationships with organizations and groups of people. The sun will shine its light on organized groups for the good and the bad. Look into the alliances you have and groups you are a member of. This house is also about your hopes, dreams, and wishes. This is a season of humanitarian work and service. We are better as a group and team to truly be a service to others. The difficulty here may be detaching from our own personal wants so that we may get the job done. Instead of trying so hard to be the rebel and individual with a false sense of humanitarianism. We will see lots of groups and organizations showing us the downside of this season with what was mentioned previously.

What are friends? Friends are people who inspire us. So often we think people who we grew up with or went to school with are friends? The people you grew up with are just that, and the people you went to school with are CLASSMATES. This may be why conflicts occur within these partnerships. Friends can be people you have never physically met. Have never spoken to yet they inspire you to keep going or to be great. Ever wonder why we love celebrities or the rich? It is because they give us inspiration in our down times. The song that motivates you, that’s your friend. Knowing this can stop us from placing illusions and expectations on what we think friendships to be versus what friendships actually are.

New Moon will be Saturday, January 28th in Aquarius with the Full moon in Leo on February 11th. With these moon phases look within for what you may need to detach from. Most think you can remove, move away, delete and block to detachment. The art of detachment is to be present in the moment and detach from the pain or hurt without being cold hearted. Being in the situation and still help without allowing the emotions to overpower you.

In the story of Buddha, we hear how he ran away into the forest to meditate. He learned valuable lessons. Buddha realized that you can not run away from the sickness and pain humanity. Once he was alone and in silence he released that even though he was not there physically, he was still connected spiritually. He then returned to his village in a state of peace being a true humanitarian and helping without taking in or allowing the situations around him to consume him. So you see, detachment is within the mind. If someone is sick or angry you do not have to take that in. Simply say within your mind “I do not want that.” Every gift someone gives, you do not have to take and sometimes should return to sender. The spiritual bond is stronger than the physical bond. Detach from the hurts and pains that you may have experienced from so-called friends, organizations, and groups. Without detaching from the message or experience that was given. Now you KNOW and you can move on with peace. Happy Aquarius season… Knowing is only half the battle.
