What a better way for October’s Witch of the month than to have a divine union. This will be called “October’s Witch and Wizard of the Month.” This is a couple who works together as one to bring the world magic and magical supplies. Together they have created HRS Botanica. I asked what inspired the name of their business and they said , “HooRoots” symbolizes getting back to your roots. Which is important in accessing your inner gifts. Both Phoenix and Lucis both have family roots in Hoodoo. Rather their ancestors used it for hexing or protecting their sacred spaces. “Shadow” means the secret or in darkness. As most of us cast our magic in the shadows. This is something I can completely agree with. Lots of us cast spells with simple thoughts and may not always be aware. HRS is a family owned online Botanica that has dedicated its entire mission to supplying your spiritual needs. This web store is for all sorts of spiritual paths. The Shaman, the Priest and Priestess, the Wild Woman, the Bushman, the mystic, and all forms of occultism. Although on the surface these seem to be different crafts we know here at Witches and Company that the name they call themselves is the only difference. The ultimate goal of all is self discovery and enlightenment and whichever path resonates with your soul is the one to take. Day of the Dead also known “All Soul’s Day or All Saints Day” is a day celebrated in many indigenous cultures from the Philippines, Spain, Mexico, to Haiti.
