Libra in Astrology
First we will go over some Astrology to see what Libra energy is all about. These things will allow us to go through this season with peace and more ease when we understand what each season brings. In Astrology Libra is governed by the planet Venus, the planet of love, beauty and attraction. The house on the Astrology chart Libra governs is the 7th house. The house of relationships, partnerships, marriages, unions, agreements and contracts .
Now what is a relationship? When most of us think of relationships we automatically think of a lover, a marriage or someone we “”like” and yes that is somewhat true. Anyone that you have sex with is actually more of a bond, bringing you together as one. This is Scorpion energy and we will talk about that next month. I will list below what a relationship actually is in a more objective outlook.
RELATE-SHIP
WHAT IS A RELATIONSHIP?
A relationship is anyone we relate to. And by that I will go into details. If you have gotten a reading by me than you are familiar with my analogies. By anyone we relate to, this is ANYONE we have ONE commonality with.
Example
When we go to the grocery store, we are all in a relationship with each other at that time as well as the grocery store itself. Although we may not know anyone in the store personally, we have one thing in common “GROCERY STORE!!” Sure we may be getting different things and they may be getting something YOU would never eat but we all have one similarity. So next time you go to shopping, instead of pointing out the obvious differences embrace the common dominators. Isn’t that more loving? This is where we are in humanity. Constantly pointing out the differences and ignoring the simple things that make us the same and more relatable.
We are all in one relationship with the earth itself. WOW doesn’t that make the ego go hostile and ready to name the billion differences. Which brings us to our next topic. Polarities. The opposition and polarity of Libra is Aries. Looking into Aries and its characteristics can shine light on the reasons humanity is where it is. Aries belongs to the planet Mars, the first house of self and demands respect. And Mars symbolizes in astrology blood. If we can’t respect the differences between us, how can our relationship on this planet be in love? In relationships with lovers we demand respect.
Now back to Libra season. With Libra season also representing justice and the justice system we will more than likely see lots of bloodshed. This is because both sides are demanding respect without giving it. Also the 7th house belongs to the public so no respect will be given to a corporation that is operating like a privatized militia and does not serve the people while disrespecting others personal space. The streets as well as the police belong to the public. The land your home is on is private, yet the sidewalks are public. They do not belong to the city but we have been led to believe these things. They claim ownership because they have covered nature with concrete and paint. It does not matter, this does not change what is underneath the concrete slabs. Because of these universal laws not being honored chaos will continue until order is restored. You can not fight against Mother Nature and expect to win, she does not care about religion race or gender for that matter. She sees us in relation to her own self, and nobody wants an abusive relationship. Would you?
Hopefully so far you may see how these things play out in your own life as well as the world around you.
Predictions for Libra Season
Now that we have covered what Libra means in Astrology we will start to focus with this season. The sun will move into Libra in the 6th house, showing you how well you relate to those personal to you. Those you have children with and those in your home. Be sure that you are servicing your children's needs and your own child needs. This is a great time to cleanse out your kidneys and blood. Other body areas of focus are your knees. If you began to show any symptoms of the previously mentioned, take a look at how you are caring for your own children. Are you giving them what they need or what you feel you needed as a child? I find that most parents work hard to give kids what they needed and neglect what that individual child needs. Everyone has different ways to be loved and cared for. Be sure you are relating better to your seeds and respecting their ways of services required.
If you have a court case or child support case this season it is best to go with love and respect. You can not judge others based on how you judge yourself and expect them to think like you. This is how the justice system works and why it is flawed. A person who kills hundreds of people, may not judge himself, have any guilt and feel he was in the right to do so. Who are we to tell him any different? I am sure that analogy was touchy so I will use another one. If a person sees a spider and they kill it because they are afraid and you love spiders. That is a personal choice and does not apply to the one scared. You can not force your love for spiders onto them or judge them because you love this creature. As the bible verse says “Judge Not Lest Ye Be Judged”
In the end we judge ourselves and we judge others off the same rules that we apply to self. Leave it to self. We are own judge, jury and executioner and just like we do not want others to do this to us, we must first not do it to them. This brings us to the story of Ma’at the the scales weighing our hearts in the underworld… May your heart be light as a feather.
New Moon
The new moon will be Friday September 30th at 8 degrees in Libra. This is a great new moon for abundance in business ventures as well as in love. Use this new moon’s energy to put out intentions of prosperity within your business and partnerships. Marriage is like a business and hopefully by you now understand the power of libra energy and can see why. Be sure that you are using compassion and the higher heart chakras to better relate to those you come in contact with. Especially those you love. We all have things that separate us and it is our journey to find the things that make us the same. Lots of love and blessings are on the way and using this new moon to tap into its energy to ensure those blessings fall in your hands is important. Otherwise you may be dealing with a power struggle in partnerships, feeling like someone is attempting to control you, rather than experiencing the overflow of love this libra season.
CHALLENGE: Anyone you may come in contact with challenge yourself to find the one common denominator and focus solely on that!! Regardless of the obvious things that make us different, I challenge you to find the one thing that makes you the same. All at the doctor’s office? Focus only on that… not the individual symptoms or illness. That one moment will change your life and expand your heart chakra.
I will be using this energy with my business, ensuring that instead of seeing the things my partners and I are different at, I see the things we are the same in and loving that the differences make our company what it is. I used last month's energy on my personal business and this new moon will be used on my business partnerships with others.
Full Moon
The full moon will be Saturday October 16th 23 degrees in Aries. This full moon will bring about the importance of respecting others and giving credit where it is due. The 23 degrees shows us that keeping a structure is important. Although we all want to be free the opposition of freedom is restriction. It is a good time to get a planner and create times that you are available and times that you are not. If you are in such a need to be free, know that others may see this freedom as a time to take. They may not respect you for this. An analogy I use to explain this is Halloween. If you were to walk up to a house and they had a huge bucket of candy with no one dishing pieces out… would you be considerate of others? If there was a sign that said “take one” would you only take one? Most people would grab hand fulls of candy. Why? Because although the sign said to only take one, no one is there to implement this rule. So on top of becoming more restricted with your freedom, be respectful of everybody else's freedom as well.
