"Freedom" Happy Independence Day/ Cancer New Moon July 4th

NEW MOON IN CANCER July 4th, 2016 VIBRATION: 7 DEITIES: Yemaya, Our Lady of Regla, Isis, Quan Yin, ocean deities.

MANTRAS: "I forgive my self for the emotions and thoughts I created as a child that no longer nurture me in the way I deserve." The new moon in July 2016 will be in Cancer. As with all new moons, when they align with the sun and at its precise new moon point (which we can not see), she is in the present zodiac and at home with the Sun. Here, they may continue to do their cosmic dance. So what does a new moon in Cancer mean? The new moon is all about new beginnings, new emotional cycles and putting new projects into motion! In a previous post, I explained what Cancer in the 4th house means. The 4th house is its natural or home position. This new moon in Cancer will be in the 3rd house. Cancer in the 3rd House Use this new moon to pay homage to your ancestors by setting them free from their pains, hurts, and karmas that have now passed onto you. These inflictions have shaped your intelligence and how your thoughts and communications have shaped your reality. You will be able to communicate with your ancestors. Their presence is strong and can be felt. The 3rd house naturally belongs to Gemini, which governs INTELLIGENCE, communication, thoughts, early childhood education, and your nature. With Cancer now in the 3rd house (nurturing by your nature), the time to start off on a new journey of freedom with no baggage has begun. Use your intellect to understand your emotions and express them, rather than expressing them irrationally. Forgive the people who raised you or may have created destructive inflictions upon you. Say goodbye to those emotions you created as child, for example, not getting your way, not getting attention, or not getting the love and nurturing YOU felt you deserved. Give it to yourself and those around you. Our ancestors need forgiveness. Unlike Oya or Ogun who desire destruction and blood, Yemaya wants forgiveness, understanding and unconditional love. From what I understand, she belongs to Pisces, which corresponds to the feet on the physical body, and the subconscious mind and its programming in the spiritual body. Right now, Chiron is also in Pisces, and hurt is ready to be healed. This energy is also connected to our Akashic records, where many lives we have experienced are kept. In the spirit realm, there are loved ones (or your own past lives karma) who have passed that may still be holding onto to these regrets while lingering around you. These feelings may be passed on to you, causing you to feel as if those are YOUR thoughts in the present. Forgive them for what they "should have" done, the hurt you feel they caused, and more importantly, the hurt they still experience. FREEDOM!! We are free. No matter what we feel happened in our history, the universe is pushing the time line forward, toward healing, soul seeking, light being, and being one with all of nature and humanity. This new moon is great for releasing family karmas. The battle is over, time to move forward. If you are still thinking of or stuck in the past, you exist on multiple timelines. Merge all of these emotions and feelings together. Move freely. Those old thoughts and beliefs that were holding you are forgiven and renewed!! Adopt a NEW emotional understanding that our ancestors/lineage “went through something,” so that we may "come out" of some THING. It's time to become independent by detaching ourselves from ancestral patterns and creating our own journeys, independent of anything that has happened to ourselves or our loved ones in the past. By the full moon, which will be in Capricorn, the illusions you created based on emotions will be brought to the light. Capricorn is all about illusions. She is the devil’s card in Tarot. The illusion is ready to be shattered. Saturn will be moving into Capricorn, its home zodiac, where it thrives the best on December 19, 2016. We will have no choice but to deal with the illusions we have all collectively created. They are there, ready to be transformed in the light!! Spend this weekend joining with family, brothers, sisters nieces, cousins, uncles, aunts, everyone - the people you have known pretty much all of your life. I will be using my womb magic for creating more and more toward my vision! Yemaya’s daughter, Oba, who is often forgot about is a great energy to use! Oba is the aspect of wisdom. This includes not looking backwards and not asking the "old you" advice for the "new you." She represents the 3rd of the Triple Dark Goddesses and the completion of the trimesters that women experience during pregnancy, as well as the feminine energy of trimester stages (another post for another time lol). Healing/protecting children: I will be giving my children spiritual baths filled with Yemaya herbs and salts, after oiling them with coconut oil. Coconut belongs to the moon/Cancer.
